Thud, Crackle, Pop - A New Exhibition

Huge crowds turn up to dig through the record racks at Pete’s latest exhibition.

This weekend saw the launch of Pete’s latest exhibition ‘Thud, Crackle, Pop’ held at 37 Kingsway in London. The exhibition space was transformed into a record store where visitors flicked through the racks to find new, old and rare McKee work all printed in LP format.

The exhibition was held for two days only, 23 - 24 May. Most of the work had sold out by the time the doors closed on Saturday evening.

Pete said this about the show:

“I'd like to thank everyone who took part in the launch of my latest exhibition Thud, Crackle, Pop. I had a great time in London and the warmth with which the work was received was fantastic.

As always I tried to do something a little bit different for the show and one of those aspects is to take the show on tour to different cities. I shall try and add to and develop the show so no two visiting experiences are the same.

Once again thank you to all who attended the exhibition over the two days, some of you travelling many miles and not just from my beloved Sheffield which had a little London take over with the Arctic Monkeys playing Finsbury Park. It's a good job Wednesday or United weren't  in the play offs as well or there wouldn't have been anyone left in Sheffield!

I hope to see you at another venue one day soon as the tour continues.”

All the best,
Pete x”
