Clarks Shoes

In 2010 Clarks approached Pete and asked him to design an image for a limited edition version of their classic Desert Boot. This iconic shoe, designed by Nathan Clark in 1950, is firmly rooted in mod culture and is seen on most of the cast’s feet in the 1979 cult film Quadrophenia.

Mod culture and fashion have always been a recurrent theme in Pete’s work. He decided it would be fitting to reference the culture these boots are most associated with and designed an image with mod men and women in their finest clothes. Over 5,000 pairs of these limited edition shoes were made. A successful project, all of these boots have since sold out.
