OLD COBBLE NOSE
Description
Taken from the THIS CLASS WORKS Collection
'When I was a lad, my dad would sneak me into the tap rooms of pubs around Castle Market and I would always see some bloke or other with a big red nose and red cheeks. Their faces fascinated me: they were walking stories. Furnaces lit their faces by day and beer quenched the burn by night. Funny: now that the fires have gone out, you don’t seem to see many cobble noses about anymore.'
