Taken from the 6 Weeks To Eternity Collection
Death-defying stunts, your life flashing before your eyes... and that was just an average day during the six week break in the 1970s! In the ‘World Ramp Jumping Cup’ poster Pete recalls some of the hairier games played during the summer holidays. Depicted centre stage is a rather wobbly looking makeshift ramp and group of brave mates lined out to make the imminent jump more challenging. The sky has been replaced by stars, referencing the outfits worn by the famous American stunt performer Evel Knievel, who inspired such daring (and risky) feats.
