Dog Biscuits
Description
This well-loved image highlights man’s best friend’s mischievous nature. The artist has painted Frank the whippet, a character that appears in many of Pete's images. In 2018 Pete recreated Dog Biscuits as a mural in Sheffield’s industrial Kelham Island area. “As my biscuit of choice, I chose chocolate hobnobs simply because I think they are the best biscuit in the world. I also painted Frank eating these chocolatey delicacies as all hounds seem to want to do is to get their paws on any kind of human food going, usually the worst kind for them. It definitely makes for some expensive trips to the vets but it’s so hard to get annoyed at those adorable guilty eyes, especially when they’re peeking out above something they’ve stuck their muzzle in.”
